Co production AND PRODUCTON ACTIVITIES
ARSAM
INTERNATIONAL is developing international feature films projects with
several first class production companies around the world (UK, Canada,
Germany, Australasia and
India).
The development activities pertain to script development as well as market
benchmarking and talents sourcing.
ARSAM
INTERNATIONAL is organized to procure co-production services as a French
and or European partner to production companies who seek to secure
financing from France
and/or shoot their projects in France
and Europe and access certain sources of
financing under the European convention for co-production.
In this
capacity ARSAM can organize all the European financing and monitor the co
production closing.
FILM FINANCING SERVICES
ARSAM
acts as an Executive Producer for French and international feature film
projects combining its extensive network in the production and financing
community and a unique experience in film and television transactions,
ARSAM enables producers and filmmakers to reach the right partners for each
of their projects.
As a
finance packager ARSAM is:

Negotiating international distribution arrangements for feature
films,

Securing private equity funding and gap financing for developed
feature film projects,

Accessing subsidies and tax-driven funding,
·
Securing presales from European and North American distributors,
·
Securing production financing for fully packaged feature film
projects with budgets ranging from $5M to $30M.
SELLING ACTIVITIES
ARSAM has
developed an
international sales division which represents in the international
market feature films whether completed or during production.
BUSINESS AFFAIRS
CONSULTANCY
ARSAM
provides a global view of the potential financing scenarios for
international co-production and co-financing ventures. Through its long term
relationships with regulatory film bodies and funding organizations, specialized lawyers,
talent agencies, distributors, financiers and international
entertainment/media decision makers, the company has developed an updated
database of all co-production/co-financing opportunities.
ARSAM's involvement in a project accelerates its
development process. By proposing deal terms which match each party’s
expectations, ARSAM enables producers and their financiers to overcome the
inherent complications of these transactions and move swiftly to closing
stage.
ARSAM's experience of international distribution is
instrumental in setting out the most appropriate financial terms for
distribution of television programs and feature films, whether on a
worldwide or on a territorial basis. ARSAM's
expertise leads to better recoupment positions
for producers and creative participants.

Bringing
together a unique hand on experience of business practices and a broad
perspective of the changing landscape of the entertainment industry ARSAM
has been hired by institutions and corporation to develop their insight of
their environment and redesign their business practice.
Recently
ARSAM has been active in
· Monitoring a study for the European Commission on
financial circuits of international co-
productions
· Advising a group of five leading independent
European distributors in setting up Indie Circle,
an acquisition and operational joint venture
· Establishing an transnational equity funds
· Advising
national and European film bodies in respect of production support policies
ARSAM has
organized and participated to several workshops and coproduction
seminars in Europe and North America.
Arsam has participated to the organization of Immersion from 2002 until 2004 a coproduction workshop organized by Telefilm Canada
gathering over 100 producers from Europe and Canada.
Among
others events, Ilann
Girard was invited to be a panelist at the annual Screen
International Finance Summit in Berlin, the Audiovisual Training Forum
in Warsaw the Bamako African Film Summit, the Media Business School workshop in Ronda and most
recently as a guest speaker at the annual Paris Projects 2008
conference.
Since
2004 ARSAM is providing consulting services to the Producer’s Network organized by
the Marché International du Film during the
Cannes Film Festival.
Since
2005 Ilann Girard
is a film financing consultant for ACE
(Atelier du Cinéma Européen), a programme
supported by Media and he is also a consultant for IFP’s annual No Boarder seminar in NY.
Once a year, Ilann Girard is running
a 1 week seminar for entertainment senior executives addressing all major
issues of international financing. Upon request ARSAM can organize ad-hoc
training and workshop.
